Well, there's two ways you can do it. If you want to use just text like my sig, you go to the preferences page for your account, check Raw Signature, and then put in the custom sig code there. For instance, mine is:
'''<font face="Trebuchet MS">[[User:WhiteMystery|<span style="color: red;">Red</span>]] ☭ [[User talk:WhiteMystery|<span style="color: red;">Mystery</span>]]</font>'''
If you want to use images or anything else, you'll need to make a subpage in your userspage (User:The Whistler/sig), put the signature there, and then sign your posts by typing {{User:The Whistler/sig}}. You can find my old signature at User:WhiteMystery/autosig as an example. Red ☭ Mystery 17:53, 23 June 2008 (CDT)
P.S. Best new sig I've seen in a while :) Red ☭ Mystery 08:15, 24 June 2008 (CDT)
I saw you mark his user page and did the ban right as you were leaving the message :) Good catch! Red ☭ Mystery 22:27, 26 June 2008 (CDT)

Actually, you missed the mark a little.. the vandal was actually User:Lulwhut? and I see you've reverted the edit. I will take action on this - thanks for bringing it to my attention.

- Well RC patrol and good contributions are both a great start towards becoming a sysop in the future. Keep at it, but just remember that when you page a sysop, make sure you have checked the page history carefully and you've identified the culprit. Cheers!

Looks excellent so far, how about my imag€s?--CherryOs12 23:51, 28 June 2008 (CDT)
Great, aulthough I generally blow ass when it comes to templates (if that is what you want me to use)... oh well i'll make it work!
Hmmm, I'll Work on some Merits this time, I have to get to bed at 1:30-2:00 AM but ill be back on around 4:00PM Tommorow (EST)
I have an example of an acheivement image
CherryOs12 00:53, 29 June 2008 (CDT)
I use Cordia New , Font size 16, Bold.... Smaller Text is Size is size 11 Yes, me as well.......
The only template users aren't allowed to use is the bannstar cause it's supposed to be special. I'll get after new users spamming things like deathnotice on articles they don't understand, but the only problem with established users using those templates is that sysops don't always catch it. If it's a spectacularly shitty article, feel free to leave one of us a note. {{baleetplz}} works well, too, since a lot of us check that list on a regular basis. I'll take a look at the article you just mentioned right now. Red ☭ Mystery 23:26, 29 June 2008 (CDT)
Don't worry about contacting me - that's what we're here for. I've been getting e-mails from him, too, since I think the bot blocked one of his accounts. He's actually been e-mailing the sysops for a few months now with random threats. The best thing to do is ignore him, but if he's emailing you funny shit, go ahead and post it as long as it doesn't contain any personal info. Red ☭ Mystery 19:38, 30 June 2008 (CDT)
[edit] Thanks for the /b/lack-up on SOHH!
Appreciate the support, sir! Ghet 16:25, 1 July 2008 (CDT)
- Alright. Thanks for the support /b/rother --Todd McCloud 16:15, 1 July 2008 (CDT)
Well, you can toss the forced meme template on the article to warn people. That's if it's a somewhat well written article that might someday be worth keeping. If - the more likely case - it's a heaping pile of shit, just leave me a note and I'll flush it. WM 00:12, 13 July 2008 (CDT)
[edit] re: COD4
No problem, I just see those gaps often and they can easily be removed by shuffling images. -User:Certain
I like it. My only reservation is having the real name of a minor in the article, even if he was dumb enough to put it online himself. Do you feel that removing that would hurt the quality of the article at all? WM 01:04, 16 July 2008 (CDT)
- Well, it is site policy to not include any personal information in articles, including last name, address, phone number, etc. If we see it, we have to remove it. Now, in his case, where he posted the last name himself - if it was an adult, it might fly, but since he's a minor, we have to be incredibly careful and err on the side of caution. The only exception to this is when a person goes primarily by their real name, like some wikipedia admins, and we can argue that that is how they identify themselves to the web. I wasn't spamming, each edit was previewed before I submitted; I was making smaller separated edits that were mostly putting in piping or being a grammar nazi....<3Arguecat3 12:03, 23 July 2008 (CDT)
[edit] Zuko's Flamethrower article
I'm not Zuko's Flamethrower. Yes, I did write the article, but I'm not her. Check us out on FFNet. You can try to contact her, but she's rarely on, so I don't know how quickly she would respond. And I'm not Aeterna either, though I THINK I know who he is, if his talk page is correct. OmniPuss 13:32, 13 September 2008 (CDT)
