"What is Love?" is a shitty eurodance song from 1993 by some douche named Haddaway. It was used in an unfunny sketch on Saturday Night Live, and in the inevitable stupid movie based on that three-minute sketch.

The whole mess inspired a new meme on YTMND, with people shooping different heads into a GIF of three characters bobbing their heads to the beat. If it was funny with Chris Kattan, Will Ferrell, and Jim Carrey, it'll be HILARIOUS with Picard, Data, and Riker!

Generally, when someone says "What is..." then the person reading the topic is supposed to think up some shitty lyrics to go along with whatever they're discussing.
