The 4chan wordfilter for "wapanese" was "weeaboo" which is from the webcomic "The Perry Bible Fellowship" strip 62. This quickly became popular and people thought it was the actual word for "wapanese", "japanophile", "otaku" or any other of the terms describing your typical basement-dweller with an unhealthy obsession with anything Japanese.

The word "noes" in the netspeak term "oh noes!" was wordfiltered in /b/ as "exploitable", so whenever someone used that term it would come out as "oh exploitable". This was eventually used as the generic term for the instant-meme image templates: oh exploitable.
