Work was invented last Thursday in the cartoon strip Dilbert and describes a process whereby one does voluntary work, but for money. All work managers are White Anglo-Saxon Protestant Men, whilst the highest level that a woman can hope to rise in a company is to that of Secretary/Mistress, a phenomenon known as the "Ass Ceiling". Ceasing to work or "retirement" usually consists of a lard-induced heart attack for men and "having a baby" for women. Feminazis have tried to redefine housework as work, but since the advent of post-modern irony they have returned to the kitchen and put the tea on.
