Ed Poor

Ed Poor was de-sysopped not too long ago after a number of controversial actions, including two Requests for Arbitration. [1] [2] He deserves mention here, of course, which is why I'm not removing the section - but right now I lack the necessary faculties to re-write that subsection with the necessary lulz and drama, and not wanting to submit actual crap to Encyclopedia Dramatica, am simply noting it on the talk page. --Blu Aardvark 08:24, 9 Mar 2006 (UTC)


I read that Ed Poor stepped down voluntarily. The admins even hated that so much they banned FuelWagon forever for it. I'm sure he's back on another account. Oh and I came here actually to mention I'm trying to catalogue a bunch of drama, basically wikipedia claims that it gives people the chance to edit their talk page after a banning, but the people there hate it so they lock talk pages after being banned. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Log/protect To make a big list. No, Ed Poor was desysopped, at least according to the ArbCom record ([3]). As for protected talk pages, I am, myself, the proud owner of a protected talk page - and an indefinately blocked account. The wikipediaphiles didn't like a particular webforum that I frequent, and managed to pull a convient excuse out of their ass to block me for a week month. Supposedly, I had made personal attacks on longstanding Wikipedia contributors, ie, I called Raul654 and some of his henchmen "trolls" and requested that a Meta admin remove http://kapitalism.net from the spam blacklist. (Note - meta's spam blacklist is used by this wiki, which is a Bad Thing). This justified a block of a week, which was extended to a month when I re-iterated that the users I had mentioned were trolls, and accused bureacratic bitch Kelly Martin of being a troll as well. And my talk page was protected. Later, it was unprotected (after several sockpuppets and an eventual agreement), and I attempted to use it as an informal dispute resolution, but lapdog NicholasTurnbull would have none of it, and protected it again, blanking the discussion in the process. Well, naturally, this pissed me off. After trying to negotiate with the wikimediot for a period of time, using four or five different sockpuppet accounts, I got pissy, and blanked quite a few articles using two more accounts before they figured out it was me. Then they saw to it that I was blocked indefinately.

pleasure to banned from TOW

Actually, it is a pleasure to banned from TOW, because now I am out of reach of their myraid policies such as NPA and AGF. I can say what I want to whoever the hell I feel like saying it to, without fear of any consequence - what are they gonna do, ban me again? Blocks are pretty inneffective, as I've spent enough time as an RC Patroller that I know how vandals operate on wikipedia, and have employed numerous vandal tactics to piss off Raul654 (quite succesfully, I might add). I don't understand why anyone would RC patrol--maybe if they have a bot and can do something else, but damn it's gotta be boring. You have to be clever and find an unbanned open proxy to do it so they don't banninate your IP. Although it's often reverted quickly, it's very amusing to watch them get pissed off.

  • You're only on the list of admins that locked someone's talk page after banning them, so they can't communicate, ask to be unbanned, or ask why banned. That's not much and the statistics were only over a 15 day period. If I tallied them up over the last six months it would be several pages. I know it happens many times a day there. A paid-up cabalist, apparently he actually flopped in his third try, but Raul654 kindly stepped in after the polls had closed, disallowed an opposing vote, and cast his own vote 'for'. Apparently a huge fan of Pockemon, which must have helped with Raul. I can't find it on ToW, but ... will do for now. Here is a good sample of the lulz he can dish out, raving on about the need to 'shut down' an external site 'for disrupting Wiki'; here are some power-mad threats to try and extract the url of the site. Wonder wtf he had in mind?

This page

Is good in theory, however it is very easily outdated and not enough people are keeping it up to date. I moved Krimpet and Alison to their own articles, mainly because they have both had their Sysop flags removed. Most of the other poeple on this list I have no idea about, and frankly it's not really funny. I propose making stubs for a couple of them and deleting the rest of the section about admins that are just blatant attack pieces added by people who are just butthurt over being banned. The rest of the article is funny, and some of the other stuff could still be kept, but in my opinion this page doesn't work like this. --zaigertalkplx 09:17, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
