Free speech in America? I don't think so. Especially when it comes to speak one's mind in public, which reaches faster and easier the audience. Sure you can sue later, and possibly win. But you couldn't express your ideas freely, could you? Free speech my ass. --Richard Dreyfuss 10:05, 20 September 2007 (CDT)

Well worth getting tazed for the settlement he'll probably get. Assuming the illuminati don't come for him first.--ArtieWheeler 12:01, 20 September 2007 (CDT)

Not to martyr him, but I sympathize with him. Those cops made a dumb move imo, and they might lose their badges for it considering J. Kerry was more than willing to answer his questions. Bill Oreilly came on the air and said something about Mayer "charging" the stage. I didn't see him charge anything. Pencilbox 13:22, 20 September 2007 (CDT)

  • I don't know if I'd call it a charge, but when he twisted free from the cops the first time, he closed a lot of distance between him and the stage. The only real problem I see is the decent chance that the cops gave were overly sensitive about not arresting him, then might have wound up slapping cuffs on him and tasering without telling him that he was actually being put under arrest and what he was being arrested for. There's loopholes in situations where the arrestee is not acting in a rational way or if the perp is certainly aware of what he did wrong, but it's usually reserved for drunks and not fucktard pranksters. --Aghar  Image:Aghar_hockeydog_signature.gif   13:52, 20 September 2007 (CDT)
  • I was surprised not to see men in black tackling him personally. You can see them running around on the floor a couple of times, but really, no reaction. First impressions was where were the Miranda rights? Cuff him, tase him, and put him in a car? I believe its standard procedure for the police to give his rights on location, not after hes in the car. Correct me if I'm wrong. Pencilbox 00:02, 21 September 2007 (CDT)
    • Police report said the men in black in the video, standing behind Meyer, were actually from the company that manages these events. Miranda rights were read as he was being led out, after tasering. --Aghar  Image:Aghar_hockeydog_signature.gif   01:30, 21 September 2007 (CDT)

All the movies were deleted.. I don't see the lulz anymore? Litso 14:51, 25 November 2007 (CST)

I just found out that Meyer was an epic Harry Potter spoiler troll, hanging out at the main intersection of UF with signs spoiling the last HP book. Clearly he is more advanced an IRL troll than we had even known -- I'll try and add it to the article when I have a chance. Bubbaprog 09:19, 18 May 2008 (CDT)
