My fellow dramacrats. As you may be fully aware, the ED IRC has been shut down as of Last Thursday (literally) by our queen and overlord, Girlvinyl. Although I won't discuss her reasons for doing this, as that's her place to speak, I fully agree with her decision to do it. Ever since ED has come back up from it's downtime in May 2007, we've experienced a torrent of newfags so thick, we could feed them to prison inmates as gruel. Retards by the barrel full have been deciding to blow their loads all over our good website.

While I do appreciate your desire to contribute to ED, it's of my opinion that many of you are extremely fucking retarded. Because we're not hard enough on people who decide that writing in *Chan memes and catch phrases is hilarious (see: People who think Two and a Half men is funny and not lame), ED has gone to shit quality-wise, and our standards have lowered as a result of it, because at this point, anything would be an improvement over this recent downpour in shit.

Because of this, we seem to scare away half-decent people who might actually possess the ability to contribute something funny to ED. But because we allow these unfunny faggots to continue living, we get nowhere. So, from this point forward, I'd like to see a complete overturn in quality. Now, I have no problem with people covering the latest happenings on 4chan, where the largest infestation of retards has come in from. You're only a Chanfag to me if you speak in memes. But if you're too stupid to know how to wiki, or just aren't funny, either read our conveniently placed Style Guide, or kindly wait for someone who has a sense of humor to write the article.

No more half-assed articles containing the words 'an hero' or 'over 9000' in every goddamn sentence. No more shitty attack articles written by butthurt faggots, who think that writing about their insignificant e-nemy on ED will surely show them a thing or two (SPOILER: It won't). And most importantly; no more unfunny faggots. Seriously, if you can't think of an original joke, just step away from the keyboard. It's not like you'll be needing it for anything meaningful anyway.

ED is supposed to be a site that documents drama and lulz. ED is supposed to contain either infotainment, or satire as sources of humor. Not "OMG SO AND SO DESERVES TO HAVE THEIR EYE SOCKETS FUCKED BY THE COCKS OF TWELVE ANGRY BLACK MEN". This is about the lulz, not about your illogical rage and fury directed towards someone (not that you can't mock people outright, the act is just often very, very poorly executed). Go write about it in your LJ, so we can make fun of you properly.

My fellow Dramacrats, during these dark times in which ED must live through, I ask you to rise above, and influence a change. Help ED become the great place it once was, and eventually, that former greatness will be restored. So strive, strive for a change in quality. A change in standards. A change, for the better of the lulz.
